What we collect
When you create a LawnBase account, we collect your email, password (stored securely, never in plain text), and any business details you choose to enter (business name, phone, address). When you use the app, we store the client, job, and invoice information you add.
Your data stays private to your account
Every account's clients, jobs, and invoices are private to that account. Other LawnBase users can never see your business data, and you can never see theirs.
Third-party services
If you choose to enable them, LawnBase connects to a small number of outside services to provide certain features:
- Stripe — to generate payment links, process customer payments, and handle subscriptions to paid add-ons such as the AI Assistant.
- Anthropic (the maker of Claude) — only if you use the AI Assistant. To answer a request, LawnBase sends what you typed, plus the client, schedule and payment details it looks up to answer, to Anthropic, which processes them to write the response. Accounts that never use the assistant send nothing to Anthropic.
- Twilio — to send text message reminders to your customers, if configured.
- Resend — to send account-related email notifications.
We only send the minimum information those services need to do their job (for example, a client's phone number to send a text reminder).
We don't sell your data
We don't sell, rent, or share your business or customer data with advertisers or other third parties.
Data deletion
You can delete individual clients, jobs, or invoices at any time from within the app. If you'd like your entire account and all associated data deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it.
Cookies
To count visitors, LawnBase also records visits to its public pages (home, login, sign up) with a random anonymous ID kept in your browser and the site you came from. It contains no name, email or other personal details.
LawnBase uses a single secure cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page.
